I've not been much up on Phantasy Star Zero, probably going to jump on it when the English version's around, and I haven't been handheld gaming much recently... though I think it's mostly just cause they were only announcing it when I was in Japan and it wasn't really available for purchase ( Read more... )

PS0 is pretty fun--it feels very much like PSO-lite and makes me hunger for a proper, full-blown PSO sequel. The art style has really grown on me too. But in Japanese I feel like I'm missing out on the story.

I haven't played online yet, but I wanna.

Yeah, I ran into similar issues playing the Japanese version of Portable concerning the story. I imagine the difference is bigger with 0 though since it's a whole new thing... Portable you get the idea since it's still part of the Universe... universe.

I've been abusing schthack BB recently... don't ask me why, as I'm still trying to figure that out myself.

Suppose I should research into some PS0 videos, I only really saw that first teaser one. That whole 'symbol' chat drawing idea is brilliant though. Who knows, I may get into it after all.
