It is becoming very apparent to me as to the attraction of wild creatures to my little garden spot. Nothing beats waiting patiently for breakfast to arrive I suppose.
This is the first time I have seen this red-tailed hawk and I am pleased to have captured it in a photo. I am pretty sure this one is young yet intuitive about the multitude of chipmunks that move through the area in search of bird seed. Thank goodness for the window in my garage and my ability to be sneaky.
Tanks so much...I just wish the batteries in the digital camera had been charged. This was an iphone camera shot through an extremely dirty garage window.
I also have an owl that sits there at night. I came home late and the car headlights shown on him. His head did the 360 right as he lifted himself airborne. I swear his wingspan was 4+ feet wide.
