I try not to take any of my senses for granted. I'm loosing my hearing, and I have (overall) poor eyesight. Some day I think both of them will be diminished, and I'll be left with memories. Memories of those things cherish in both sight and sound.

Hey there, long time no hear from. Hope all is well with your crew, is the little one in college yet? *grin*

I am so sorry to read that you are loosing your hearing. I know that has to be difficult. Senses are a precious gift, none of us should ever take them for granted.

Memories, Curtis are what keep most of us alive and moving forward. I will hope for you, many to cherish.

Even as it fails me, I realize my sight is better than some have, and was at its best, better than most, and at any given time, better than I deserve.

What an experience for you! And beautifully said, too. Thank you for sharing this, so much!
I think others should have these sorts of experiences so that they know more of what sensory disabilities are like.
