There was definitely no underwear and reckless abandon in my last place of residence - for one thing, I was the youngest one there - and if I did it, who knows who else would get the idea. The very thought is [shudder] disturbing.
and yes, I'm quite happy with my single bed - hehehe - for a few months more at least - I've decided to wait until I get a new apartment (maybe in May or June) before getting a new bed.
I miss chatting too - I've been doing the MSN messenger thing. I'll check on aol tonight or later this weekend.
Just wanted to post in your journal for the first time. Sorry it took me this long to update my friend's list. I finally noticed the people that added me and the ones I felt like deleting. You lived in California? Where in California? Where are you now in the Midwest?. I'm living in Chicago and loving it. Moving every 10 years is not bad at all. Picture me for instance, I have moved from Caracas, Venezuela to Omaha and then to Lincoln in Nebraska and finally to Chicago in the space of 2 1/2 yrs...damn

Hi Niels - thanks for adding me, good to see a comment from you.
I lived in San Francisco for about six-seven years, then was in grad school in Ottawa Canada for the last two. Now, I'm in Detroit. I lived in Chicago for a couple years a long time ago - it was a pretty depressing time in my life, but there's still a lot of Chicago that I love and miss. I need to get back there again for a visit one of these days.
Caracas to Omaha had to have been a bit of a culture shock. Why Nebraska?
Glad you're enjoying Chicago, for the most part - I know things have been a bit rough for you lately, but you definitely seem to be holding it together - that which does not kill us makes us stronger!
LOL. Everyone wonders why Nebraska. It was a combination of factors. I would say it was a money issue together with the fact that I wanted to perfect my english away from all other languages and thirdly but not least was the fact that they accepted me first so I just went along with it.
Then I ended up moving to Chicago, which is a city I always loved and wanted to live in. Now, I'm trying to enjoy it and I love being here. You lived in Canada? I actually stayed in Toronto for 2 months about 3 years ago. I took my second and last intensive english course there. It was nice.
I have indeed gone through some very bad times, the worse has past and now I see the way beginning to look clear once again. I still can't believe I let myself get trapped into a chat, into his niceties and mysteries.
Take care. Always welcomed to leave a comment in my journal. Stay in touch.

You mean you didn't when living with them? Ha ha.
I hope in 10 years you are content too :) You deserve it.
Miss not talking. I know you are busy though :)
Happy with that apartment with the single bed? He he. I won't let that down.
