Sim Of The Month - Madison Lowman (Pt.1)

Nov 07, 2009 14:55

This is Pinstar's bonus Halloween Sim of the Month challenge. A little late, but it turned out longer than I expected. Madison is not a part of the original storyline, so I could jump right in. Also, she lives (?) in Riverview so I wont be bothering you with the premade families this time. :)

Oh gosh, poor you, going through all that trouble for virtually nothing! I'd be so frustrated and disappointed.
But I would also really want to know if she'd ever give birth to a ghost baby.. Guess I'll have to wait another day ;)

This is also really making me want to play TS3 again. I played quite a bit of it yesterday, after not touching the game for more than a month. In the beginning I didn't want to like it, but I did, against all odds.. It's addicting. And I am fickle.
Looking forward to pt. 2!

Oh I'm very much frustrated :) This challenge is all about luck, which makes it totally stupid. Unless I'm missing something obvious. Perhaps using Ambrosia, to keep ghost children (if any ;) ) in the appropriate age category. But wouldn't that bring them back to life. In any case, I'm not ready for advanced strategies just yet.

The game is really playable. I can't remember the last time I actually played TS2, it was all about customizing and setting everything up. I do love setting up, but just playing is nice too! :)

Exactly! I seem to be stuck in the setting-up-phase in TS2 forever, I never get to the playing. Whereas in TS3, I can just jump in and play. :)
That does have to do with my caring more about my TS2 game.. I could do the setting up in TS3 too, but I just don't care about it enough to want anything more than a little legacy going.

I just hope we'll all eventually reach the setting up phase in TS3 too. I've been reading ingeli's new blog and I admire her patience and courage to mod this game. I'm so not ready for it yet.

Oh the challenge is so frustrating, I often wanted to just quit it already (and I sort of did, you'll see). And those kids are demanding! I feel like their needs drop more quickly, and they get lonely all the time!

Thanks for stopping by!
