So I am watching animal planet and I am always so amazed at the dedication that some people have to animals.  I could never imagine giving up my family to dedicate my life to the welfare of a specific animal.  I would still need to have my family around me.

I am in awe of someone who has that deep of a cconnection to animals.

Many people include their family and make it their life's work. I know of one in Thailand and one for the Galgos in Spain. I admire anyone who rescues animals.
