Today is my Mama's birthday! She turned 51 today!
She's energetic, funny, and has the best attitude I've ever seen. I hope she has a great day, full of smiles and laughter!

Chapter 4
Chapter Five
One day past. Then two. Four....now it's been a week and I can't get over being so pissed. Why am I so pissed off? I lay down on my bed and stare at the ceiling. Sure, it could be because I haven't found a job yet and my rent is due soon. I sat up and counted on my fingers.
"I have enough saved up for the rent, electric, and water..." I bit my lip, "That leaves my cellphone bill, traveling expenses, food and drink, and my hospital bill. Damnit!" I was happy to have been taken to the hospital, but how in the hell was I going to pay them back?!
I fell back down on my bed trying to think of places I could go to look for jobs but nowhere was hiring. And besides, it's only been a week since the bank incident, my arm isn't completely healed. I can't really use it much. With a loud sigh I closed my eyes to try and blank everything out. My thoughts became about Pyro.
Where was he anyways? Didn't he say he'd come back to talk to me?! What a jerk! Just standing me up like that. I realised I was getting more and more aggitated the more I thought about it. And it clicked. I was so pissed off because I hadn't seen him when he said he'd be back. I realized then that I spent that whole week thinking about Pyro.
"Ai... what's wrong with you?" I felt angry with myself now.
But with the sounds of several knocks on my door, I completely forgot about hating myself. I hurried to get up and answer the door.
"It's about time you showed back up-!" But choked on my words a bit as it wasn't Pyro standing in front of me.
"What?"
"J-Johnny!" I started coughing from choking on my spit.
He quickly came in and started patting my back, "Are you ok?"
After several more coughs, my shock of seeing him at my apartment went away, "Y-yeah I'm fine. What are you doing here?"
I locked my door and walked past him to get a glass of water. He followed me in and waited for me to finish my glass.
"I was worried, so I came looking for you."
"Does... Gum know you're here?"
"No, only Mac knows. He helped me find you."
I sat down on my bed and rolled my eyes, "Of course he did."
"Are you mad," he asked gently as he sat down next to me.
I could never be mad at Johnny, "No I'm not mad, it's just that Mac always seems to know... everything! He's always plotting... always thinking. I just, I feel like he's spying on me now."
Johnny couldn't help but laugh at my analysis, "You're right, he's always thinking about things. But don't worry, he doesn't want to bother you or anything."
"Just you?"
"Just me."
He smiled at me, and I swear he had the best smile in the world. No wonder so many girls fell for him from just seeing that smile. I wouldn't blame them though, they don't know any better since he knew how to use it for more devious purposes.
"JOhnny..."
"Yes?"
"How is... he doing?" I looked down at my hands, remembering when Gum held them.
"Why don't you just ask him yourself," he asked without any particular emotion behind it.
"No way!!!" We were both a little shocked by how loud my voice got. I cleared my throat, "Besides, we'd just end up fighting."
"Ai-chan's always been the fighting type. Always saying crude things and pushing people away."
I had to admit, it was hard hearing this from Johnny, the sweetest guy I knew, who only ever tried to take care of me like a brother would.
I felt ashamed, "I don't mean to be...well sometimes." I got a chuckle out of him. "It's just... Growing up in a household where speaking your mind would earn you a slap to the face...I held back. But after I was on my own I realised I could say whatever I wanted. So naturally everything I said was hateful and defensive."
"And it doesn't help that you hate all men."
I looked at him, "You know I've had that problem my whole life, but in the time that I didn't see you guys I learned to control it."
"Oh really," he sat back further on my bed so he could lean back on the wall.
I did the same, "Yes really! I was a working girl you know. I had to have manners or I wouldn't have kept my job."
After a few seconds of silence we both busted out laughing. It felt good to talk to someone who wasn't exhausting to talk to like Pryo. Johnny was always a good listener.
"You know what, I feel better now that I've talked with you." JOhnny must have some kind of magic.
He turned his head to look at me, "Same here. I'm glad you're doing ok."
I ducked a little as he reached out to pat my head, "Thanks for coming to see me."
He gave me that killer smile, "Anything for my favorite girl."
I laughed, "What about your favorite boy?"
I rattled him a bit, "My favorite boy? Ah, well, that's different."
"So I'm guessing you haven't confessed yet? Not after all these years?"
He removed his hand from my head, "I know I know! But don't worry about me. I'm happy as things are."
He smiled as he got up off of my bed, "Well I should probably start heading back."
I wasn't as fast as he was since my arm was still injured, but I got up as well, "Oh already?"
"I'm sorry, but if you want me to, I can come back."
"Sure why not." I smiled. I led him to the door, unlocking it and stepping outside with him, "And... um, please don't mention you saw me to Gum."
"Of course I won't!" He gave me a hug and kissed me on the top of my head, "Bye bye Ai-chan."
I couldn't help but feel embarrassed, "Bye Johnny."
I watched him leave then hurried to get back inside, I didn't want my landlady seeing me, or anyone else for that matter. I liked keeping my life a mystery to my neighbors, never interacting with any of them. But just as I was about to take a step away from my door, there was a knock. I jumped a little from it being so unexpected.
"Did you forget somethin-"
"Did you miss me honey," Pyro said with a seductive voice.
I immidiately tried closing the door again, both hands on the handle pulling in, "Go away!" I was so embarrassed suddenly seeing him there.
Though easily enough he held the door in place, "C'mon Ai-chan, let me in. You let that other guy inside."
My hands suddenly let go of the handle from shock, "You saw?!"
He pouted loudly, "And he even hugged you! And kissed you! I'm soooooo jealous~!"
I quickly pulled him inside since he was being so freaking loud, "Will you shut up! Are you trying to piss me off?!"
He shrugged, "That doesn't seem to be very hard to do."
He pushed past me letting himself inside like it was his own place. I clenched my fists wanting to punch him right in the gut, but I knew I'd only hurt myself more. Besides, I was a little worried what his reaction might be, he was so unpredictable.
"Want some gum," he offered as he sat himself on my bed.
I wasn't amused, "Are you ok in the brain?"
But before he could answer there was a knock on the door, "Ai-chan! It's me Johnny!"
Yeah. This was hell.
Pyro lifted a hand to his mouth and quietly mocked the situation, "Shit just hit the fan! What are you going to do!"
Maybe I will punch him...
I hurried to force him up off my bed and pushed him into my bathroom. After that I quickly ran to the door, grabbed his shoes and then hurried back to throw them at him before closing the door hard. Ok, it's fine. I'm fine. I took a few deep breaths and then answered the door.
"Johnny! What's up?"
He looked at me weirdly, "Are you alright? Why are you so red?"
I cleared my throat, "Oh you know! I was just doing some exercising!"
It didn't look like he really believed me but left it alone, "Well be careful. Anyways I came back because I forgot to get your phone number."
"Oh yeah right! Let me grab my phone!" I hurried to grab it and ran back.
"Why are you in such a rush?" He took his phone out and we started trading our information.
"Am I?" Please someone... save me!
He laughed, "Ai-chan was always energetic."
I nervously laughed with him, "Oh, well, you know me!"
We traded info and with another hug and kiss goodbye he left. I banged my head on the door after closing it again, relieved that Pyro didn't get found out. I swear I lost 5 years off of my life from what just happened. I slowly walked back to my living room/ bedroom, after refilling my glass of water. I sat down defeatedly. Why was I going through all this just to hide Pyro? I wanted to tell myself that it was for JOhnny's sake, but deep down it felt more like I was hiding him because I wanted Pyro there with me.
"You can come out now!"
"I didn't think he'd ever leave!"
I spit out my water at the sight of a half naked Pyro, "What the hell are you doing!?"
"What? I got bored, started playing with your stuff and got myself wet."
I turned away while wiping my mouth and neck from the water, "Are you a child?! Put your shirt back on!!!"
"Don't tell me you've never seen a half naked guy before."
I turned around again to argue, but realised he still had his shirt off. I hurried to turn around again, completely embarrassed. It's not like I've never seen men half naked. I lived with 6 guys before, and I mean Ace always had his shirt off! Besides, it's not like Gum and I weren't ever together intimately... But this felt different. I was completely shy to even try and talk back to Pyro. He had almost the same body as Gum's by Pyro's muscles were bigger. The image of his abs and toned arm muscles were swirling around in my mind.
"Ok ok I'm decent." He sat down on the ground placing his gun on the table.
I slowly turned back around, peeking only with one eye to make sure. He was telling the truth.
My heart was still beating rapidly, "Are you an idiot?! Do you always start stripping at other people's places?!"
"Are you curious to know?" He smirked.
"Ugh nevermind." I turned away so he wouldn't see me blush, "Disgusting..."
"So anyways! Why don't we get back to our previous conversation."
I thought for a second of what he could be talking about. When I looked at him he was curiously looking back at me. I had almost forgotten about last time. Did he really expect me to talk the time I was with his brother? I take back ever having been mad that he took so long to come see me again.
Someone... please save me.
