The addresses you gave me don't line up with anything at UPS or Fedex, and your last VM said you might be with Grandma for "a while" so I wasn't going to ship your computer off into Neverland. Also, what about your laptop?

Wasn't really sure how to say it at the time. How the hell do you tell your dad something like that? Besides, we didn't have the money to do anything about it anyway so kind of an exercise in futility, I thought.

The addresses were the ones that was on the envelope I got from Chris with the drives in it. And my laptop hasn't been able to pick up a net connection since about two weeks before I left the apartment. I've been trying to figure out why but now my power cord's hosed and I need to get a new one before anything else on that front.

Why didn't you reply to the email with the address and tell me it didn't sit?
