Haha. Edward's sort of funny. I liked this chapter, though. It made him seem more human, but also didn't lose his vampire-ness

This is so cute and made me grin a ton. I love how he hangs off of her words, expressions, looks. He's so completely smitten, and she's like UGH YOU ARE INSUFFERABLE.

Part of him said he was being stupid, wasting his time talking to a human who would probably forget him in a few years time. Another part of him - the petty, hormone-driven teenage part - really hated the way she had smiled at Newton in the cafeteria earlier that day and was determined to have her notice him.

I LOVE that, because it's so true; Edward is torn. On one hand he's 100+ years old, the other he's this seventeen year old who, while the era he was in made him more or less mature than the ones in this time and age... he's still SEVENTEEN.

This “talking to girls” thing was rather difficult. He wondered why he’d never noticed it before.

Silly vampire, it's because you were asexual before Bella came along!

He grew frustrated as each scenario became less and less plausible, until he was thinking about crazy things like throwing her on top of their table and kissing her senseless until she’d have to gasp for air and acknowledge him.

...I wouldn't have minded.
