I owe the RoD blog a few entries and a paper, I'll get to that when I wake up with my brain intact. I blame the cannibalism 69 joke. :P ( Read more... )

Ready? LABAN!! *hehehe* That's one creative concept you got there... maybe it's time to pitch that idea instead of another MMORPG! And I'm a fighting game affectionado myself! Glad you found something that fascinates you. Noli and Fili were books I appreciated as well, and I acknowledge the lessons and parallelism it makes to contemporary times. It would be interesting to see how the characters "duke it out" in a fighting simulation, hehe.

How did the book fair go yesterday btw?

It would, wouldn't it? Haha, know a local game developer up to the challenge? :P

Book fair went well. You can read about it on http://read-or-die.com/blog. :)

...was gonna suggest sana Elias doing a sword finishing move similar to Citan's cherry blossom deathblow. Only diff syempre is that instead of sakura it'll be sedulas and shit.

God sorry... my Noli knowledge is fraked up ^^;

Cedula? It's very Bonifacio (maybe that should be a hidden character - *lol!*). I would suggest a long bolo. Good idea though. There's something there. ;)

I actually just got past the Elias and Salome chapter, I need to get into the beefy parts of Elias's story before I figure out a move.

Cool. What would you make Elias do? :) BTW That Elias and Salome chapter was cut from earlier school editions of Noli, because it was - and I kid you not - considered "unimportant" to the overall story. Actually, it isn't, but it does give Elias a lot more depth.
