Female; Actually I can see a lot of Sheeta from Laputa Castle in the Sky but in the end I think I'm leaning more towards Clarisse from Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro. Se fits your traits pretty well, since she's curious, gentle, kind, sweet, innocent, shy and naive and even your "are you more" section remind me mostly of her
