Work is starting to suck. I'm behind in some aspects of my job, and so not doing too well on my scorecard. Well, the funny thing is, some months I score really well and other months I don't, basically with the same rate of being behind. It makes no sense. It's good to read you, and it's good for you to get the words out, I think.

I'm sorry work is so stressful for you. I know how these things can be a vicious cycle, but I just want to remind you that there's a light at the end of the tunnel and these rough periods do have a way of smoothing out... if your place of work isn't a complete vortex of suckitude. It's okay to be scared. It's also okay to hope. I'm here for you.

Let me know what the allergy doc says and what the pulmonary exam turns up, if anything. I'm praying that the shots do the trick.

Yes, my best guess is that the second doc doesn't know what he's talking about. What did he claim were the counterindications (beyond weight)? Also, wakey you? Yay!

6.2% A1c - not terrible, but yeah, under 6 would be great. I know you can do it!

Well, I haven't signed up for the shots yet. When I called insurance, they told me it would be $20 per visit, which is weekly at first, but then another time I was told $40, so I'm not really sure. The nurse said there is also a $25 charge for the serum every so often, and I don't know if the insurance pays for that or not. It's nice to have insurance, but I feel like I still have to pay so much out of pocket ( ... )
