Too bad KakaIta fandom is literally non-existent. I always thought Itachi was a bit of a Kakashi fangirl. I think I even made some "crack" fanart with Itachi as Kakashi's cheerleader. Let's hope I never find it again for the sake of decency.

Indeed, this artist does the most ridiculously sweet funny things. XD
Here's her website, if you feel like visiting it.

and I guess the person on the last pic is Orochimaru?

Yep, that's Orochimaru. Don't be fooled by him, he's a total uke as well!

You don't know how happy you make me. And... and Kakashi doujinshi that didn't include Iruka in it should warrant a merit. I don't know why KakaIru is so popular, KakaIta has at least some basis. Those two would certainly make a great couple, both being tensai, ANBU, and all.
THANK YOU!

I've always kind of got the impression that Itachi held Kakashi's abilities in rather high regards, which is quite an achievement with him. They seem to be pretty much on the same level (strength of character-wise) and can pose a challenge to each other... I think it'd be an interesting dynamic. ^^
Glad you enjoyed it too!

Totally agree with you on that one. Kakashi is a tensai ninja, yet everyone seems to underestimate him. Although Itachi is in a different level entirely. They could very well end up the same way.
If you think about it, it's hard enough being a thirteen-year-old (Kakashi was already a jounin and Itachi was an ANBU captain at this age, am I right?) with the normal amount of expectations weighing down on you. Under that load, added with the pressure of his clan and his father put onto him, it's no wonder Itachi snapped. Kakashi on the other hand, still have a sensei and teammates that truly cared for him. That's where they differentiated. Really, there's a thin line between genius and insanity ( ... )

Though I'm actually more a believer of the "Itachi didn't do it" speculation, so I don't really see him as a sociopath. I think he's just a very good liar, and took the blame for an important reason. ^^
But well, only time will tell! Hopefully Kishi has some mind-blowing surprise in store for us.
Nah, I don't mind at all. I see you are a Bleach/Matsumoto fan and a layout "geek" too. *^^* If you think you can handle my 90% of the time not serious/fangirlish posts and my not so occasional butchering of the English language, I'd be happy to be lj pals with you. ♥

(BTW, do you translate on your own? I have a really amazing series of Itachi-centric doujins [also featuring Sasuke and Kakashi] just begging to be translated!)

I can't promise you anything since I'm a bit pressured with university, but a general idea of what is it about and how long is it?
...Is it Tsubaki by Senjyo Yatai, maybe?

I've been trying to find someone who's interested in the story to translate it for me, but I'm not having any luck. I'd of course give no time frame or pressure on how fast it's done, because it's such a huge favor I'm asking. ^_^;
I'm assuming you're familiar with the story, then, if you knew what it was. It's pretty long, six books, each pressing at least 70 pages. So it'd be a long project, but rewarding at least. (Rewarding if you really, really wanted to read it, of course. Judging on how hard it was to find the books, and the prices of said books, I'm gonna guess it's a pretty rare title...)

You caught anoth er big fan of that series. *^^* I was actually meaning to scanlate it (Yamato's story) about an year ago, before I was hit full force with Bleach fever. ^^;
Were you thinking about making a scanlation, or were you looking for a private translation? If it's the latter, I'm afraid I'd say no. Personally, I already know the story, so my interest in this would be sharing it with the fandom. If that is your plan too, than count me in! ^_^
Ah, the books costed quite a lot to me as well. Everytime I saw them on auction, there would be at least six people bidding on them. ^^;
Quite understandable though, as it is perhaps the most gorgeous doujinshi I've seen.

-cries- Never thought that I'll live to see the day where I'll be able to find a KakaIta doujinshi...also to see that this pairing has more fans that what I had expected. Meh so happy for this :) and I feel so realized, only wish that I could find more about this pairing that I love.
Really I don't understand why this pairing is not that popular while KakaIru is, which is odd since those two characters have spoke what twice or three times in all the freaking anime/manga ¬¬ at least KakaIta has some basis.
Anyway, thanks for the doujinshi and great work in traslating it^^
