I'm not reading nearly enough lately, but I still add a ton of what you recommend (including this, now) to my wish list. I'll get there eventually. (I'm 3/4 through The Golem and the Jinni. :-) )

I loved it (finished yesterday). Well-paced, magical, but also real, and the supporting cast was wonderfully fleshed out. I liked that it was a love story, but it wasn't a romance. :)
