Book #27: Storm Front

I am a month behind on my book reviews, ugh.

Storm Front is the first Dresden Files book, which (obviously) I've read before. This time I listened to it as my drive home audio book. It's definitely the weakest of the series, but it is short and entertaining overall. James Marsters is an excellent narrator, though he took some getting used to ( Read more... )

I finally read Storm Front and the second and third books of the series recently. Thank you!! I enjoyed them a lot, and it's good to know that they keep getting better. I don't know how James Marsters sounds as not!Spike, and my imagination of Harry doesn't sound like him, but I am considering listening to the next couple books in the series in audio form. And because I'm a huge Buffy fan, I am curious about how James Marsters handles it. But mostly, I'm just curious to see what happens next...

I'm glad you like them! It's definitely a series that builds well and just gets better as it goes. I appreciate that Jim Butcher has a vision for the series and he's really planted the seeds of future books in the previous ones.
