I love when it snows. As I look out the window, I see how eerily peaceful it is outside and how the heavy flakes are falling with such slow grace. It brings a chill deep inside to see such cold, but immediately following that chill is the flush of warmth that spreads from the excitement of seeing this winter storms. So why don't you go for a trim or a slightly different cut? That way you can still feel like you've done something different to your appearance, but not as traumatic. My philosophy has always been: hair grows back. However, recently I've had the same dilemma as you because I like my hair like it is. So instead I've been experimenting with color, and have only had it trimmed or shaped since last summer. Good luck!

I agree with rakugo. If you like it long, just try a different style or color. I chopped all mine off and while I liked it, now that it's long again I like this better. But I changed the color for a different look and feel.
