I think I'm growing out of livejournal, which is strange, considering there are people in their thirties who use livejournals, and they're more mature than I am. Perhaps it's my complete boredom with whiny, all-too-lengthy patter that somehow constitutes as an entry and am patently fed up with reading other peoples' complaints - which seem to be ( Read more... )

Heheheh. Welcome to my unspoken complaints about livejournal. I don't really update any more, because very often, someone only updates to get comments about onesself. It's all an emo-revolution, people complaining because apparantly strife is the only thing that is entertaining. However, strife is only 'entertainment' when it's warranted, or associated with a storySaying "I've been depressed all day, listened to this while I laid in bed and thought about how lonely I am. Let me expound upon my loneliness with you here for a minute, without making any point at all..." is pretty annoying. I can understand talking about your breakup, your dead dog/parent/cousin. But people seriously need to get over themselves and their little worlds. They need to realize what strife and difficulty is ( ... )

That's why I like quoting, or asking for help with homework topics on here... people have overly emotional comments about things, it helps to balance out, in the end.
Amen about perspectives. I'm put in mind of moderation in all things too, though I think that's a different subject.
I like love. Love is good. I love happy people! Happy happy. I'm going to shut up now.
