Memories

Apr 23, 2007 22:44

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

you and i driving back home late after my farewell party, stopped at the lights at Ashmore and there is an Owl sitting on the overhead wires..that was special, considering how in touch you are with wildlife, to me it was as if that Owl was guarding our passage home.

I don't remember the drive home, but I do vaguely remember the bird - I think it was a Tawny Frogmouth and not an Owl??? I often spot wildlife which most other people seem to be oblivious about but then again, I might actually be looking for them subconsciously.

Thanks for posting that memory, my friend. I have already posted this in your journal, but I want it here too!! This is the memory I have of you :P

I just had this funny thought. Sharn might post - I have photos of her with sharps too. Maria might post - again, photos of sharps with her too. Never played with Jill though, so that is pretty much everyone who posts on my LJ regularly.

Hmmmm lunch at Brewsters... so many good memories there.

Like the time they didn't have a prawn and avo and swiss cheese toasted melt for me and I sulked.

Or the first time we went there and the melts were huge!

Or the time we were there and the bacon caught on fire!

Or the times that we got the fruit slushies from Wendys to have while we had lunch at Brewsters - and I worked out how to get my straw down the side and drink all the cool juice and just leave a cup full of ice. So you would give me yours and you would work with mine until it melted again - by which time yours would be a cup of ice. I am just a juice extraction unit! :)

Yup........ good times. *happy girl sighs*

You do make awesome sandwiches. Does this mean I don't have to make lunch any more and that you will be making lunch from now on? :)

LOL I remember that. I was sitting in between Colin (Metasin) and John (Surgeon). All we did in those days was bounce ideas off each other to find something that had not been done recently, or something no one had done. I was right into fish hook suspension at the time (The first public scene I was involved in at a play party - it was a No Holes Barred Party - was a fish hook suspension). From memory, John had just seen a crusifiction and wanted to replicate it. Colin wanted to get a few ponies. Ahhh the good ole days...

Damn it, I want to do something nice and edgy now. (And as there is no one to play with, I guess I will just go to class instead.... )

You know what else I remember from that night? A heated discussion you, John and I got into. If I remember rightly, your hubby was a serviceman and was over seas at the time? You found BDSM while he was away. Your thoughts were when he got back, if he didn't like BDSM, you would simply walk away. I remember us telling you, if he got back and didn't like BDSM, your marriage would be over as kink would become a large part of your life. I now feel like a prophetic genius!

No, we never did co top, although we were often around at the same time when one of us were using the dungeon when you were still living with Vic at Summer Hill.

When I first came into the public scene, every one told me I needed a mentor. At the time, I was belting Sean / Rubberboy and he suggested you. I remember asking you "Do I need a mentor", and you put your arm around me and said no. You gave me the best words of advice ever - if you can sit on their face, you can dominate. Ahhh... words to live by...
