I know that this is hard for you and sorry to say it won't get much easier. I think what is probably the hardest is how you know this will affect your mom. Use your time to deal with the issues you have with your step dad so that when he passes you can use that time to help your mom. Remember that your friends will always listen whenever you need to talk.
