Mostly I post things for me. Things I want to remember, things I need to get off my chest. I find I post much more when I'm upset than when I'm happy, especially when it comes to my husband. When I'm happy with him, I'm off enjoying his company... when I'm pissed off at him, I sit at my computer and write about it! I like to share my thoughts with others though. And neat stories. I like it when others comment... it lets me know they read and care, but I'm not usually totally crushed when people don't comment back. Sometimes I use my journal to ask for advice/help on certain things... it just depends. :)

I'm having a hard time answering this because I never have any idea how I seem to other people. I tend to assume they all hate me and find me annoying.

It's impossible for me to answer that poll with any accuracy because I'm too wrapped up in me to really know. :}

No one I've met through LJ has met me in "real life" yet, unless you count talking on the phone....

...and I prefer to think of it as a kitty-cat's behind, not a rat's..a kitty's behind, with tail raised, looks like an exclamation mark.

I do hope hubs gets better, for both your sakes!

Erm. Not sure anybody that knows me on LJ met me after reading me. So I don't think I can actually answer that bit. Of those who knew me before reading my LJ, it's probably a mixed bag, depending whom you ask. *shrug*

As for the first one, I do try to portray the real me. Depending on the post, I may feel some hurt if nobody responds (esp if I'm requesting a response). I post things because I want to keep them, but I'll make it public if I think others might be interested. I always worry about my spelling & grammar, but that's not because I'm posting for people, but because I am a Grammar/Spelling Beeyotch. And, overall, no, I really don't give a rat's behind what anyone thinks.

*grin* Thank you. I try to be fairly WYSIWYG. I know I don't post a lot - I do more in comments (obviously). I spent sooo much of my life trying to be something I wasn't (for my grandparents, teachers, etc.). It took me so long to figure out who "me" is, & sometimes I'm still discovering new (hidden) aspects of myself, that I just don't have time to hide that anymore. I'm not going to start rubbing my "real" or "new" self in anybody's face, but I'm also not going to hide it. *shrugs
