So I had my first real day at ACN yesterday, from 3-midnight. It was ok, I took about a dozen calls, got people set up with phone service 'n shit. It was actually pretty slow, I read The Talisman most of the time. It's weird to have set breaks, I'm used to I&A where I can just wander outside and smoke when I feel like it. Ok, so I applied for like five jobs at American Airlines in Marquette. There aren't any flight attendant positions open at the moment, which I must admit bummed me out a little. Oh well, I applied for Station Agent and some other random customer service stuff. It's got good benifits and decent pay, and I might get to live back in Marquette again. ( Read more... )

Well, my parents are back, they were in Arizona for a week. While they were down there, my dad had a gall attack, was in pain for about 7 hours before they even figured out what was wrong, and then had surgery a few days later. They had to take the whole darn gallbladder out. He's ok, a little sore, tired, and they're both just glad to be home. I ( Read more... )
