At this point my last 2 experiences at Summerstage were so bad I doubt I would go there again.

Who did you see there?

The last time we were at Summerstage we saw Arctic Monkeys and that crowd is always pretty obnoxious. The show was sold out last night, but clearly a lot of people stayed home because of the rain. My only problem was that they allowed umbrellas, which was pretty bullshitty, but people started taking them down once the show started. I think they all realized they couldn't see shit because of them.

We found a pretty sweet spot in the bleachers where we had a good view of everything. Overall, it was a good show, but by the time I got home I was super tired and soaked.

The last show was Ryan Shaw/Common/Joss Stone. Should have been incredible. Ryan Shaw was great. Common was awesome, but we were starting to get annoyed with all of the people talking around us. But once Joss got on it was like nobody was even watching - which is probably why they didn't notice how absolutely horrendous the sound was. I believe the entire midrange was cut out, which meant that we only heard the high notes. We left less than half way through her set.

I also saw Dinosaur Jr there, and the sound was awful. The only show I remember really enjoying at Summerstage was Bebel Gilberto - and that was probably 7 years ago.
