I keep meaning to work on this. After seeing a number of the lists I have to admit that Pitchfork's was pretty good (even if they missed a number of my favorites). If you're interested in a music discussion group, I'm semi-active on emusers which was actually started in case eMusic ever shut down its message boards. The thread I started on Pitchfork's list branched out to include other lists and had a lot of good input ( ... )

In all seriousness, I think my favorite song of the decade might be Alien Ant Farm's version of Smooth Criminal. But it's certainly not on any "best" list; heck its not even good.

Best list? I think I would put Coldplay's Clocks on my best list, as well My Immortal

Yow... none of those make my list. Smooth Criminal is probably my favorite out of all of those, but to me it's still not even close to the best of the 00s.
