In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
So I looked over last year's goals, and did a few, but not all, which isn't bad so here we go again.
Okay, so while I don't do resolutions, I like goals. And I think I have a few that are attainable, but also a bit of a challenge, which I like.
Fannish
Finish at least ONE freaking bingo. I usually don't have trouble with this, but last year got a card that only got a few squares filled. So yeah, I love bingos and want to get at least one. (please note that this one did NOT happen in 2016, but I will keep on trying, just to see if I can convince my muse)
Leave more comments, instead of just kudos.
Post more. Create things.
Non-fannish
Cook for myself (and kidlets). That one can be tough, especially for the kids during the week. Because by cook I mean more than heat up something from frozen, or from a can. Now I've gotten pretty good at making myself stuff - I cook on the weekends for my work breakfasts and lunches (and thank you BudgetBytes for getting me to make new and awesome things). Dinners are a bit tougher though, as what the kids like and what I like don't mesh really well. But I want to work on this (especially expanding their palettes). (This is one that is starting to work, especially as DoMH wants to learn to cook. ZP just wants to figure out new desserts, but he, it's something).
Read more that isn't fanfic. Because there are books out there by authors I like, that I should read. (and I am! Halfway through a book atm)
Clean/organize/de-clutter my house. This one is daunting, but worth a try. (making my kids really work on this too - new year, cleaner spaces!)
Okay, those seem like a good start, yes? Yes!
