this past week in review

Well, I have been at school now for one week - that means one week with a new roommate and one week of student teaching. On the roommate front - things are good, but I miss my old roommie. Camilla is a total night owl and is never in the room. I spend as much time as possible out of the room with people because I miss having someone to talk to.

If that sort of thing happens again with a sub, make it clear from the get that your cooperating teacher wanted you to be in charge OR that the sub needs to step in and help. It is absolute bullshit for him or her to complain about you when they basically refused your help.

I'll be solo teaching tomorrow--we have a sub of course but my C.T. knows I know how to do everything we're doing tomorrow so she said just let the sub know that she said it was alright for me to take over. She even told me if the sub complains, she'll just ignore it because I had her permission. She'll be in the building anyway so I'm not too worried.

Sometimes subs can have a bug up their behind because you are doing something they wish they were (except that you aren't getting paid but they are). *hugs*

I miss my roommate too... :`( You are going to have the same itchy bee sub again tomorrow too? I thought she swore never to come back to that school ever again?!!? Glad to see you are updating :)

yup, same sub tomorrow. she didn't swear she wasn't going to go back to S.H. yet, but I'm afraid she may do that if she gets another day with me.
