Hey guys :D Sooo I know that most of y'all like Hetalia, right? Well, I'm a little curious...

Who here likes the dub?
Who here dislikes the dub?

I don't want to get into a wank-discussion about it, I'm just genuinely curious/want to take mental-inventory.

Also, no, your answer will NOT make me like/dislike you any more or any less XDLooking

Haven't listened to the dub yet. Not had time. I usually don't mind dubs though. *shrugs* I can pay attention to what's being said and not have to read.

Well, the voices for the dub are decent, so it's not like it's bad in that sense.

But there's been so much so much ab-libbing in an attempt to be intentionally offensive, and it's painfully obvious that FUNi is trying to turn Hetalia into South Park, and failing at it ^^;

It's kinda weird though; nobody's really been offended at what's been said in the script changes, but people ARE offended that they'd make such severe, out of place, OOC, and all-around face-palm worthy changes in the first place.

TL;DR- every argument that any Hetalia fan has made in the series defense, has been thrown right back in our faces XD;;

I like the dub, personally, I don't know, I usually watch dubs of every anime I watch if I like the series enough.

(Excluding maybe three, but that's because the voices were just...bad)

So for me, sub > dub.

Though dub is hilarious and I'll watch it.

But...the dub leaves me so disappointed, it's almost depressing for me D:

Don't get me wrong- I usually like and/or watch the dubs of every anime I see/buy...but..*sobs*

I don't know, what makes me able to watch it is that, I take it as just another form of Hetalia you know? Aside from a few lines, the changes are actually hilarious.

Also, I've been waiting since 2008 to own Hetalia, so of course I'm going to buy it.

Also, I've grown up on dark humor so...

I'll stop making no sense now. ;u;

Yeah, I've been waiting for a long time to own it myself, but that's partly what breaks my heart ;A;

Even if it's another form of Hetalia, it's almost like it isn't Hetalia anymore...which is a bit exaggerated, but...

Well, the guy who made DBZ saw DB Evolution as just "another form of Dragon Ball", so he sure was a good sport :,D

I still plan on buying it, but aside from the rainbows and everything, I'mma be a sad panda ;A;

Ah I see :,D I don't mind offensive humor myself, (since I laugh at South Park and always say offensive things at home xD) but I do have a problem with trying to make the show something it's not OTL;;;

But yeah, I only saw 1-8 myself, partly due to lazyness and partly because I wanna be able to watch 'em when I buy the dvd's XD I'm happy the handled the Storage Cleaning and Chibitalia pretty well though <3
