I don't know how many will actually take the time to read this, and I apologize if I've added you to my friends list and have yet to comment on any of your journals. LJ confuses me to some degree and it's much easier for me to respond to people's journals' on deviantART, rather than, well, here.
As for what I'm doing on here right now, well, basically, I complain about things too much on dA, so I figure I'd give my watchers a break.
With that said, let the complaining begin!
It's just a small thing really. It's just this whole state-tan thing. I love the people over at STP, but over at hetalia_wank, all I've heard is people complain how mary-sue ish State-tans are- or- more specifically, someone else called STP "Mary-sues R US" and that p*ssed me off.
Yeah, that group has a couple of sue's running around. not gonna lie.
But you can't call a character a mary-sue just by glancing at their picture. (Well, sometimes it's blatantly obvious just by looks, but still)
You can't just assume they're a sue just 'cause they happen to be smiling in a drawing, or they happen to be pretty, or whatever the heck's "wrong" with them.
I dunno. I spent a lot of time researching the state I picked, and I know I'm not the only one who put a lot of effort into their character. So to say that the MAJORITY of the group is full of Mary-sues...? It just p*sses me off to no end.
K, I'll shut up now. I might bring this up on dA later but I don't want people to start getting upset or paranoid themselves.
