there was a power outage in my apartment complex and a duplex across the street. i went outside and meet up with a guy from my complex who i've never spoken to before and we went to the duplex across the street and a lady in one of the units invited us and her neighbor in and we sat around for like an hour chatting even after the power was restored

Power outages are always fun, but only at night, when, I believe, people most feel the need to connect with other people.
