South of the Border, West of the Sun

I don't know if anyone who reads this LJ reads Haruki Murakami, but that's what I'm going to write about anyway.

I haven't gotten around to reading that one, but I've read "Kafka on the Shore" and "After Dark." I know what you're talking about with those sensations through.
