TeniMyu Last Day--->最高だった！
And so my final verdict is in.
Tenimyu Advancement Match Rokkaku feat. Hyoutei is good!
I went to watch the last Tokyo performance for RokkakuMyu tonight.
With today included, it was my 2nd time watching the show. And let's just say, first impressions aren't everything.
Maybe the fact that I had a better view and could hear people more clearer helped, but I really loved the musical today.
It's still not on my top 3 list of the myu series but I liked it way better than when I saw it on opening day.
Seigaku sang so well today! Before I only really praised Sakurada Dori (Ryoma) but this time I noticed Takiguchi Yukihiro (Ooishi) and Watanabe Kouji (Taka) stood out.
Sakurada was awesome today. He's so cute (and I mean that in a totally innocent way...not in the way that I would wanna hang up his poster in my room or anything like that...) He has good stage presence and for being the chibi of the cast, I'm glad he has a lot of self-confidence...he's not overly shy or anything. His personality seems like the type to be able to stand up to challenges. At least that's how I felt during his singing and dancing scenes..He's the total opposite of how I feel about Minami Keisuke (Tezuka) who always looks like he's nervous to me...he's so stiff.
And I've gotta add in Kujirai (Kaidou) again! Once again I was impressed by him today. I really love his Kaidou....and if he doesn't get to play Kaidou again in the next myu, I can say I will sorely miss him. He's just so perfect for the part.
I won't say much about Rokkaku and the Hyoutei since as I said before...they are pretty much perfect.
As for Senshuuraku Kouen changes/adlibs...
1. When Momo goes to praise the tree trunk which proved to be a formidable opponent, he also wishes the trunk it's best for Osaka and gives it a cute otsukare for Tokyo.
2. During the one part where the coach allows a Hyoutei member to express their worries or concerns, Otori Choutarou is chosen.
His nayami, "Why on such an important day such as this (it being the last show), was I chosen? I've got it. It's because Otori is otori (sp?)!" (the 2nd otori means last.)
3. During the encore of "Seasons," the Hyoutei members are supposed to strike a pose. Some of the cast members got carried away in their poses. KenKen did a funny muscle pose. Also Rokakku and Seigaku decided to join Hyoutei during this song and also got carried away with the poses. Dori even did an "I'm too sexy" pose. Minami and Saitou also switched glasses during the encore.
4. After the encore, Ueshima-sensei made an appearance for a split second before the curtain fall.
5. Gakuto blew off Oshitari. Gakuto was walking across the stage when Oshitari called out to him but instead of stopping and turning Ruito just ignored him and kept walking until Saitou called out to him again.
That's all I can remember for now.
All in all, they all gave a great performance today. I'm looking forward to the dvd.
Next show to get ready for is Bleach!!! <--Oh, how forward I'm looking to it!!!
