-Note: I just listened to David Archuleta actually sing for the first time. I think... as much as I do love David Cook(really the only other latest American Idol contestant I'd heard), I would have picked David Archuleta if I watched American Idol. He just asked me, "What can we do to make you less bored up front?"
Wow. Seriously o.o I think that's the right thing to ask.

But a change in dress code all of a sudden? That sounds really random. But there might not be anything behind it... Or... perhaps stores in your vicinity use company shirts and your store just wants to, er, tag along?

Definitely. And I gave him all the suggestions I can think of. Certain things only go so far though.

I think it's the owners trying to be more professional. It's a family owned business, but it's gotten much much bigger over the last ten years or so. We now have three separate stores including the one I work at in three locations. So I think in trying to keep up with becoming bigger and better they're trying to make employee standards bigger and better.

Part of this idea is based off of an email Bill sent out to everyone because he'd been receiving a lot of complaints about the new dress code policy saying that he'd been allowing people to wear clothing that his bosses didn't find appropriate. (and every employee knows that Susie, the owner, is anal)

It's just a little disappointing that things are turning out like this. I just hope there isnt a rash of people quitting or something.
