I live in Conservative town, USA. When I drive around the city I see various bumper stickers that read "boycott France." Apparently, those of the French persuasion are not welcome in Colorado Springs, CO. So I have decided to purchase a French flag bumper sticker, slap it on my car and drive around Colorado Springs to see just how much the ( Read more... )

Yeah but they make for great conversation. Colorado Springs is funny because it is one huge battleground. You see there are the Evangelists who are constantly battling Manitou Springs (a close neighbor) which is one of the New Age hotspots of the U.S.A. Each of the different Springs protests and yells on the others turf. Nobody (at least who I know of) really want the Evangelists here. A local newspaper launched the "Church Kicker" and took pictures of a guy kicking various churches around Colorado Springs. I see that as a silent protest ( ... )

Just you wait Henry Higgins I plan to drive around dressed up like a mime. I feel like the reactions I get now are too passive. I need some yelling! I'm glad your parents enjoy my stupidity.
