the one thing i'll give people in the PNW is that they can drive up hills in the snow. i drove in the mountains last weekend on the snow....4x4...it was scary!
see, people up there are used to it! ...and I guess I forget that people down here aren't. I grew up in Utah where snow was EVERYWHERE and tire chains and 4-wheel drive were standard all winter. =P
hahaha... I knew you'd see this and appreciate the absurdity of it all. =P
Yeah, Mizzou wouldn't even cancel class if two planes flew into the World Trade Center killing thousands upon thousands of people... oh wait, that did happen and they definitely DIDN'T... no, instead those sick journalisim bastards turned it into a discussion topic. JERKS.
UT cancelled class 2 pm to 10 am. I had an astronomy final at 930 am. The professor moved it to the make up day, Tuesday, but if you already had an A going into the last test, he said you could skip the last test.
WOOHOO! That's me! I'm soooo glad too, because I had NO idea what this section was on. It's like I slept through a third of the class. Oh wait, I did.
hahaha, oh no, I'm not complaining, TRUST ME--I enjoyed every second of my hot bath and afternoon nap. =P I'm just making fun of the weirdo Texans who freak at the sight of a snowflake or possible single digit temperatures. =P
