and the mom comments... haha, it's pretty stupid, but it just sort of evolved my senior year with a few of my closest friends/sorority sisters...
I'd be out shopping with my friend Riedy or Neuner and one of them would say something like, "Oooh! I love those shoes, can I get them?!" And me, being the good friend and trying to save my gal money on something she doesn't need, would reply in a motherly tone, "No honey, not today. You already have some just like it." Then it'd cause a, "But mom, pleeeeease!" reaction and eventually it got us started on the "mom" bit... soon it just became, "Mom, can have this?" or "Mom, I don't want to go to class today..." etc. etc... and then Dad is used for boys... get it? =P
Okay the high yesturday was 84 friggin degrees, will it ever stop here in Dallas??? EIGHTY FOUR!!!!! It broke the previous record of 73 or something. WTF?
hahaha, I KNOW! I mean, I certainly don't hate 80 degree weather, but I'm just scared what it's going to be like come July and August if it's already this warm in January! =P
