"Art" Isn't Easy

Since I like live theater, I tend to go to a lot of plays and musicals. Last weekend, I decided to go see a play put on by a theater company that I had never heard of before.

My original plan was to go Saturday night, but circumstances interfered and I spent most of the evening doing absolutely nothing. They were also doing the show on Sunday night

I have been to poorly attended productions, but...ouch. That's pretty bad. Heck, most rehearsals are better attended than that!

Yeah, I felt really bad for the actors at the end of the show. The five of us were applauding as loud as we could, but it still sounded incredibly thin.

I'm hoping, for their sakes, it was the fact they were performing on a Sunday night. Every other local theater company that I know about. except for one, either takes Sundays off or only does a matinee, and that other one is a very well-established company. If that's how many they typically draw, they might not be around for much longer.
