Step 1: Put your music player on shuffle.
Step 2: Post the first few lines from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Strike through the songs when someone guesses both artist and track correctly.
Step 4: Looking them up on a search engine is CHEATING!

I suspect most of them do, though I haven't had any real experiences with non-iPod MP3 players.

It's actually the original Patti LaBelle version, but since they both start the same, I'll give it to you.

Neither do I. It's from an album of patriotic songs I downloaded a couple years ago for the 4th of July. So it's pretty much some random studio singer.

18. "My Sweet Lord" -- is that the George Harrison version?

17. "Take It Easy" -- is that the Eagles?

6. Boston, "More than a feeling"?

p.s. I would do this myself, but as far as I can tell, my MP3 player doesn't seem to have a "Shuffle" or "Random" function.

Correct on all three counts!

If you have iTunes, it has a random function.
