The only source of knowledge is experience

So I’ve come to notice that so far, it seems to me, all of the works we have touched on have two major things in common:

1)      Obviously that they are of the 20th Century

And,

2)      They all draw on some experience of the authors.

Hey Shell
I think your poem is beautiful. I get the impression from reading it that it is a very personal thing, and so i feel a kind of discomfort commenting on it on it like this, or mentioning how great i think it is in a literary sense, but i just wanted to let you know i think your wrote it beautifully, and that you are pretty brave for being able to share something so personal in the first place. It feels odd to say i 'liked it', because its obviously discussing your pain, but i still enjoyed reading it- if you get what i mean?
im going to stop talking now. but yeah- it really is a touching poem.

Wow, Michelle....what can I say. You certainly have the ability to take the reader on an experience, even if it was unintentional. I agree with Bec in that you are very brave for sharing such a piece. Often, we think to ourselves 'who am I to express myself creatively." Well, as a wise fellow once told me, "who are you NOT to." You have done this so well, words just cant express. You have done yourself proud, so congratulations.

Heartwrenched Reilly.
