If we want adjoining rooms, I can book (I did that for years; heck, I used to book 3-4 for Hollins people when there was a chance that we'd get on the same floor, but that quit being an option and got too confusing anyway). If we have 2 adjoining, that's good for as many as 8 people, maybe more considering on size.

BTW, it looks like flights to Orlando are cheaper than Ft. L. That's a nice perk.

Do NOT miss the banquet. It is the stuff of legend. Guest Scholar luncheon is ok, and don't forget that you can probably get a ticket for volunteering (banquet too, for that matter).

I'm game for Universal Studios if other people are.

I think two adjoining rooms is a great idea. We can add cots as we need them. Amie, did you want to handle this, or would you like someone else to do it, just to give you a break?

And of course the banquet and the luncheons are a must like every year. Though Amie's right - sometimes they'll give you a free ticket for volunteering. I'd ask Joe who to talk to about that.

I'm not a fan of Universal - but I was born and raised in central Florida, so I've been a few times - hence the lack of enthusiasm. I'd rather get a group together and stay a few days near Disney - like Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. I never get tired of Disney. :)

I'm more a 1.5. Brian's a maybe, and if he does come it probably wouldn't be for the whole conference. He's traveling a lot more for work now, so we won't be able to know until closer. However, that's still only one bed, unless someone else wants to share with me. ;)

You know, I've kind of had my fill of dealing with hotels during the wedding. :) If someone else feels like fielding this I'm all for it.

I haven't been to Disney in years, never been to Universal, so both appeal to me equally. Only reason I might want the Universal trip is if we had some sort of behind the scenes things through ICFA, anyone know if that's the case? Otherwise, I could be talked into a 3 day Disney trip very easily, esp if we can share rooms there too.
