Hey, sorry about the Mormons, but they are from Mars...so you have to watch out. ;-) It's your choice when you get baptized. You do it when you know it is right. If you want, give me the number and I will personally chew them out for you. And as for the Satan line...WTF!! Who's ass did they pull that out off? Oh, wait! SATAN'S! I don't believe in the Mormon practice, as I view them as hypocrites. And I know I can be called one, but they blatently put it in writing that they are. In Revelation, there is a line at the end about not adding or taking away from the Bible. Well, I know it's not really adding to what makes up the true Bible, but the Book of Mormon at the end I feel is added stuff. And it talks of Jesus reappearing elsewhere in the world. I'm sorry, I don't see how he could when he only showed in Jeruselem (or wherever in the middle east he was) cuz that's where he was known, and him reappearing there showed he was (and is) Lord. I found a lot of thing wrong with that book when I read it. I had too many ( ... )

Thanks for your comment. I'd like to see that five page paper you wrote, if you still have it. I talked to my dad about what happened yesterday. To put it mildly, he was pissed. He said that if they come over again, he suggested that I tell them that I am not allowed to talk to anybody unless there is someone else there to make sure they're not telling me something misleading. I found out that they had approached my bother's girlfriend's 13 year old brother...he was unchaperoned...I don't think that's right. To walk up to some kid on the street without a parent's permission and try to convert them to Mormonism. Don't get me wrong, they seem like nice guys. But...they're kids. They're our age ( ... )

Ah, in response to Josh being considered an adult male. Well, obviously he is techniquely not an adult. He's 16. However, if he was at home and he was the only "male" there, then he would be considered head of the household for the time being, or until my dad gets home. (Sure...that isn't sexist...) So, even if I wanted to invite them inside the house, I couldn't because I am a woman. To be truthful, I think they're afraid of doing something that might later offend the woman, and she would turn around and get them into loads of trouble. I'm sure it's happened before. But if a man is home, it makes them feel better. I don't know....hard to explain.

I don't have that paper anymore, but I remember making a big deal over Moroni (?) and his visions. But as for the guys coming back, from what I know about what the Mormons believe, only so many are going to be accepted into the Kingdom, and you get in by doing so many good deeds and converting many to faith. I see that as wrong. In the main Christian faith, confess with you mouth and believe with your heart gets you into Heaven. It's your works on earth that determine the rewards you'll get in Heaven ( ... )
