Incompetent USPS

Last week, I got the Monday and Tuesday mail in, but I went out very early Wednesday (too hot in the day) with the trash & recycling and when I saw the mail truck go by, I figured I'd just pick that mail up on the way in Thursday from the new psych (seems pretty good so far). I stopped on the way in, and something has been shoved under the latch

Bureaucracy and incompetence... I love those two.

LOL Yeah, it was real frustrating. There wasn't anything I really needed in it, but I don't want it to get full. I didn't have a choice when I couldn't open my side. I considered picking their side, but that's illegal.

Very annoying, whether a thing usually works or usually doesn't.

We got mail for some vaguely similar address the other day, so I left it in the box with the flag up. It was still there the next day, so I put various marks upon it intended to convey (in wig-wag semaphore) that the address wasn't ours. It must have worked because the thing finally went away.

LOL I can't just deliver them to my neighbors (although a few of them have delivered to me), so I just mark wrong address on it and drop it off at the post office.
