The vet called me today and told me that both the existing shoulder lump and the new jaw lump are benign basal cell cysts! good news indeed!

I have hairs like that. They change back and forth from brown to grey. I thought that wasn't supposed to happen, but it happens a lot with my hair.
I just wish more of it would stay on my head, adn that the follicles would stop being lazy. I had such thick hair when I was young.

Yay Loki! I'm so glad to hear this.

I also have hairs like that. I always wonder if it's like the rings of a tree, that they are white when I'm stressed and go red again when things are easier. But that's probably not it.

That is, I know tree rings don't change color in response to stress -- I was thinking of how they are different during a drought.

Oh, I thought of that -- I'm having trouble eating -- but it would have to be only one end to match that.

I have hairs like that too! I think the pigmentation-producing cells don't deactivate all at once - sometimes they turn on and off a few times before they're done for good.
