11. UNKOWN WHITE MALE - This is a documentary about an English man who suffers from amnesia. He one day found himself in a NYC subway and realised he didn't know who he was, where he was going or from where he was coming. I'm reading a fic at CM called Second Chances that I couldn't help but relate to this film. It was pretty cool and scary at the same time. It's crazy what this bloke Doug had to go through. (UK)
Today I was supposed to go watch LE POUPÉES RUSSES (France/UK) which was the film I was most looking foward to. It is a sequel of a film I really love called L' AUBERGE ESPAGNOLE. The thing is dad had his heart beating awkwardly at 2 pm last night and was taken to hospital. My mother only told me in the morning just before I was leaving for college. He's in intensive care but is improving well. I know he's going to be OK, but I was really scared just to think about what could have happened. When I went to see him I was so nervous he had to reassure me he was going to be fine, when it should have been the other way around. He told me he wanted us to keep our regular routines and plans for the weekend and I promised him I'd do so. This means tomorrow is a day for Spanish class, 2 films and at night the Caledonian Ball. I'm trying to keep my spirits high but I guess I'm still a bit scared.
