I bought a plane ticket back home for April 11-15. My mom has recently been diaganosed with breast cancer, but luckily it is (or seems to be, not sure how to phrase it) completely treatable and definitely not as serious and some cases. Today I picked up a package from my friend Stephanie and it was way exciting and totally unexpected! She made a special little painting that gave me tons of warm fuzzies (and is totally being framed when I get home:) and some snackies and pens and post-its and 3 mix CDs of Stephanie music = fun pop music! Just got back from seeing "Efter Bryllupet" (After the Wedding), which is nominated for best foreign film at the Oscars tonight, and I think I'll go on record as saying that it's the best Danish movie I've seen. Today I almost got frostbite on my toes...My history class had a scheduled walking tour and the professor said that we were doing it whether it was snowing or raining, so despite the fact that I wake up to windy snowy weather I put my cute little butt on my bike anyways.
