Apparently, it is impossible for me to stay off the internet while I am supposed to be working.

I actually used to only rarely have that problem too- but SHIT. Just this week- GAH. YOUTUBE. Fucking YouTube!!! I've been working nonstop, except- ok this will DEFINITLY make you feel better.
So I stayed in from parties last sat because I'd been sick all week (stomach flu- weeee!) and decided it'd be a dry weekend and I was swamped so I should get shit done, right? Well I slept for a million years Friday night (stomach flu + migraine + loss of vision etc etc = sleep a VERY good idea) so sat I'm so fuckin wired, but I'm determined to at least stay in (from parties) and work, which is translated into sit in front of my computer, thinking about work.
And watching just about every Pink video on YouTube.
That has GOT to make you feel better (my friend slapped me when I told him about what I did with my saturday night (fortunately my other friend who I told came in the room at 3am (in my defense I only got on YouTube at 1 or 1:30) and put an end to it. Well, eventually...)
