Wow you are going to have so much free time that is going to be awesome!! What class are you taking?? Lauren Goodwin was over there in Rome and other places for a semester so I am sure that she could tell you some great places!! Are you gone until the end of the summer?? I am glad to hear you are still alive haha maybe I will get out of my little work/sleep bubble and see you and everyone else haha. I hope you have a WONDERFUL trip and you have fun traveling and all that!

I know people who have spent a lot of time in Italy, I'll ask them if they have any ideas and then let you know!

Haha well if you DO go to France I'd say the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay (or however it's spelled, it's worth stepping into to look at even if you don't stay long), Monmatre of course except the touristy area where they follow you around trying to make you buy things.

Above everything else go to Giverny, Monet's house, just west of Paris... the gardens are absolutely heaven. Bring a picnic lunch with you (baguettes!) and don't stay overnight because of the tourist-trap prices.

Haha but this is assuming that you go to France at all and that you've never been before :)

If you've never see Eurotrip, watch it!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe that I forgot this -- BRING A FAN!!! And a converter. Three people in Paris died from heat exhaustion just during the week that I was there, and it was even hotter in Italy. Seriously, in the tiny room that 4 of us shared, we slept naked with the windows open.

Let me know if you were planning on bringing iodine tablets to clean the water- I should have some around here...
