Interesting classes. I had an English test on writing introductions; hopefully I did decent. Human Sexuality class was fun and hilarious. Took class notes and watched a hilarious video on male stuff. After classes, I hung out with Dustin & Joe for lunch, then went home, I think ( Read more... )

I can't be online for more than 2-10 minutes at a time, because my dial-up thing is messed up, and clogs my computer fast. It's been like that since December. Otherwise, I would be on more often.

Nothing worth it EVER lands in your lap. Keep pestering bookpassage. If its ment to happen they'll probably call you right after you quit looking.

Wish I was in that class!

Actually, it's bad to harass potential employers, because then they won't hire you. If you've filled out an application and left two messages than sadly the chances are that they won't hire you. I've been in the job market before and have had experiences like that, and asked employers how someone repeatedly calling made them feel. If it's for a retail job they usually don't like it. Artistic jobs they love it, but not in retail. Retail doesn't involve personality so much as getting a gig does.

But there are plenty of places around so don't get downtrodden! and I can fill you in on that later.

p.s. good things can land in your lap ;)

Ignoring the comment fron anonymous (who has no clue what the situation is or may be.) they are partially right. Don't totally pester book passege. I was trying to encourage you go for what you want and don't stop looking. I was just saying (badly) not to give up.From experience, as soon as I stopped looking at a place to work, they offered me a job! although having my ex as a student there probably didn't hurt. and once I called a job eight times! They had lost my apllication, and If I hadn't been a pest, they would never have known!

I could tell them a thing or two about experience though!

"Ignoring the comment fron anonymous" except that the rest of your comment was about mine.

(who has no clue what the situation is or may be.) How do you really know that?

"I could tell them a thing or two about experience though!" Doubt it.

By the way, have you noticed that lj has a spell check option?
