where are the whales in new jersey?
is that why they're endangered? because whales don't live in new jersey?

The whales, sea turtles, and other migrating marine life pass through the 401 square miles of coastal waters of the Atlantic Ocean that are under New Jersey's jurisdiction.

Since many animals migrate over a large range and travel with the seasons to tend/ensure suitable food supplies and an agreeable climate, the endangered species who call NJ their home at any point during their lives are included on this list.
