I woke up at 6:30am with a dull ache in my stomache, sort've like there was a lead weight inside.

I think it was from eating both roadkill deer meat AND earlier, carne asada in this burrito.

Too much meat.

I couldn't go back to sleep so i just thought a lot about permaculture course ideas & such. It was kind of maddening.

did your parents start work at age 6?
because if not, then their conception of money should match yours.
they had money loaned (or given) to them for many years before they started earning it back for themselves

Well yeah, they had money loaned to them while they were growing up, and were fed, clothed, etc by their parents. But I'm pretty sure our parents don't expect us to pay them back for legos or easy bake ovens, so let's not confuse the 8 year old us with the 20-something year old us.
