I mean, really? Santa Claus???

The script was so inane, pedantic and absurd that is does not deserve comment.  Capaldi gives the exact same, canned, performance he gave in every episode of season 8.

What absurdities will Moffat subject us to in the new season?

Will someone please fire Moffatt and get Doctor Who

The only thing that saves the show is Peter Capaldi & Jenna Coleman, and their adorable, brilliant chemistry. <3
But yeah, the scripts and the ideas are just stupid.

and the majority of the ep was a dream, so it didn't really happen, and there's 45 minutes I'll never get back *sigh*

I keep hoping that we will eventually get a 'Dallas' moment. RTD is rehired; First scene of the new season, The Doctor (Nine or Ten (whoever is willing)) wakes up in bed with Rose and realizes that the last few years have been just a horrible nightmare. He and Rose go on to live and love and have adventures happily ever after!
