And while we're on the subject, LOCKE.  How many of you think he can be trusted?  He's been doing a lot of good deeds, but has ( Read more... )

Dood!
Something wasn't sitting well with me from the first time we saw him in this episode when Hurley (should I be calling him Hugo now?) was taking the census. The guy just seemed...off.
And when he 'ran to get Jack' I just KNEW he wasn't going to go and get him.
But the ending?
I never in a million years expected that! I try to stay spoiler free as much as possible - it's more thrilling that way.

But anyways, back on topic, Locke has something to do with it. He has to. He was in the 'dream', and he saw the heart of the island or whatever it was when he was first hunting boar. I have a suspicion that he somehow met up with someone else on the island (perhaps the creepy guy) and found out a little more info than he is letting on.

Yes yes and yes. I completely agree with you about Locke. Fishy is that man's middle name.

"My real name's Hugo Reyes. Hurley's just a nickname. Why? I'm not telling you, man."

:P

LOL -- I guess if you don't want spoilers you won't be reading Entertainment Weekly this week. But I love Terry O'Quinn's response to the question, "What does the monster look like?":

"It looks like a camera on a stick."

I'm still not so sure about Locke either. Did you see him when Sayid came back telling everyone about the French woman? It was as if he already knew. Of course, he may have run across Danielle and the "others" during one of his hunting expeditions, but there's also been speculation that he's been on the island before-hence the connection and his awareness of its "secrets". I'm wondering if perhaps he was in the same research/whatever group with Danielle. Maybe someone (Locke) got off the island that she's not aware of. Perhaps he's somehow involved in whatever happened there, even if he wasn't a part of that expedition? I haven't thought about these ideas enough to formulate a solid theory, but it sure has me thinking ( ... )

Oh the sunglasses!!
Elton John shades I dubbed them. :D
Not surprisingly, they looked quite stylish on our bad boy. I just love the fact that he was lounging so casually on the beach. Hee!

LOL They were absolutely perfect. Watch, he'll probably be instrumental in saving the lot of them in the end. That would be great for payback, wouldn't it?

Claire/Rosemary's baby? I have no idea what's going on there. What would the Others need the baby FOR? *shudder*

And I loved that scene, too! :)

That *is* an eerie dream. And apt, I think. Because I think it's Locke among the survivors who doesn't want off the island.
